A collective to unite the actors and experts of the ocean
Through an innovative vision and carefully chosen partnerships, we gather the actors of the sea behind a common mission, to create a true community for the ocean.
Through inspiring visual content and education and conservation actions, the mission of the Argonautes Collective is to increase the impact of organisations and individuals in order to grow a sustainable coexistence between People and the Sea.
A global context at a crossroads
The ocean covers 70% of our planet, providing vital services to our societies and to natural ecosystems. Assailed from all sides, the ocean is subject to multiple pressures, and the warning signs have been present for several decades. France is no exception in the face of these threats.
Yet for many years our country has nurtured a special relationship with the deep blue, and many great French names have left their mark on the history of the oceans: Jules Verne, Jacques-Yves Cousteau, Jean-Baptiste Charcot… Strengthened by this history and home to the world's 2nd largest maritime territory, France must stand as a leader in the conservation of marine resources, both nationally and globally.
